;; The Pit

The pit is a shallow, wide dish in the earth, the floor of which is entirely slate and dirt. No vegetation grows in it, and the slate is marked with white grooves and dents. By mutual consent, the packs have deemed this the "fighting grounds". Fights can occur outside the pit, but if it's a fight over anything meaningful, like leadership, it has to happen here, or it isn't considered official.
